In my home country I find wonderful things, and while there are amazing places out there, none are like home.

There's no place like home, they say. And that's true for me at least. I've been to the Louvre, the Canals of Venice, Doha's impressive airport, Hong Kong's mountainous peaks, yet when I think of the place I'd like to live in the most, it's still here. With my friends.

My Home, The Philippines
What is it about this country I like so much? Some would say I like this place because I have a certain bias; I don't think that's true. I've lived in Singapore before, a country very opposite to the Philippines. And sure it's clean and politically and economically stable, but the Philippines has a genuine nature to it—not to say Singapore is bad. People smile here, people talk to each other in the streets. There's a sense of camaraderie. It's unique, where the East meets West, where social norms and culture intermingle. While the Philippines may not be like other countries, no other countries are like the Philippines!
